Samuel Adams Brewhouse
The renovation of the Samuel Adams Brewhouse, at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, was another airport Concessions commercial renovation project powered by Sovereign Construction Management. The design concept for the project was a polished cohesive blend of industrial design and natural materials. Materials such as wood, brick and steel, reminiscent of the original Sam Adams Brewery and the historic period that it was established, were used throughout the project.
The interior renovation managed by Sovereign Construction included new wall and concrete floor tiles, new paint in both the back and front of house service areas, new brick finish embellishments, and newly installed pendant lights and barrel light fixtures. Sovereign also coordinated the international overseas sourcing, coordination and installation of new furniture, fixtures, and equipment package for the Samuel Adams restaurant space. The primary design element used for the new furniture package was metal and leather. New furniture and fixture installation included marble table tops, barstools, tables, chairs and decorative metal ceiling panels ceiling. The construction was executed in phases, which allowed the Samuel Adams Brewhouse to remain open during the entire renovation and avoid a loss of significant revenue.
The project is a perfect balance between the old world charm reflective of the time period the Samuel Adams Brewing company was created and the new age progressive southern style found throughout the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Though we may be a little biased, it’s one of the best places to have a beer and a bite before your flight!
